Kenny joined the SCC staff in June of 2013. He spent the previous 15 years serving as a full time Student Pastor. He has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Christian Ministries from East Texas Baptist University and a Master of Divinity degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. His wife is Sheri and their daughter is Gracie.

Chris joined our staff as the youth minister in April of 2009 after a 14 year career of teaching in the public schools. In 2012 he transitioned to a position as Serve Pastor. As the Serve Pastor, Chris oversees all of our missions ministry and trips, community outreach and involvement, ministry to widows, and facilities operations. Chris is a graduate of Sam Houston State University. Chris is passionate about serving others, biblical teaching, discipleship, and his family. His wife is Elizabeth and his two daughters are Rebecka and Madilyn.

Melissa has been part of our church since 2001. She has joined our staff as the Children’s Minister after 24 years of serving the Lord in public and private school education. She has a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood and Elementary education. Her husband is Flint and her three grown children are Caleb, Kaitlyn and Carson.
